*Spoiler warning: the title gave away something about the movie.* I spent a little time reflecting on the movie and what was cool and what was dissappointing and Jar Jar popped up in my head. You know, as much as I hated him in the first movie, I was fine with him in this one. He never spoke or did any of his stupid antics (they gave them to R2D2 instead, but he is cute so it only hurt a little). He ended fitting into the movie very well. The first time you see him he is scenery...he looks like he fits in with the senate...which later when Palpatine convinces the senate losing democracy is good you realize that hey, Jar Jar does fit in, they are all easily led idiots. But at the end is when he Jar Jar really comes into play. It is a sad scene, a funeral procession for a character I lost all interest in while watching this movie (ie, untouched by their death) and you see him there in the funeral procession...and it just makes you sad and a little angry he is still around. He actually ADDS to a scene!!!

Well, I am feeling good about myself now. Looks like one of my listeners wants to help me fill your heads with randomness. So, The Robomessiah sent me another dnd script for you to guess. He decided to be harder on you then me and he switched the names. I am seriously thinking this might have to be a weekly or bi-weekly thing here. I will probably have to vary it up a lot, too many posts with nothing but die rolls would even make me not want to read the page anymore. Anyways, here we go:

Name That Movie! [ Movies ]

I got a lot of positive feedback on my last DnD style post, so I am giving you another one. But this time, since what is portrayed in the movies and what it comes down to with die rolls is so different, I decided to play it a little differently. You read, then you tell me the movie.

LotR DnD style. [ Movies ]

Ok, so I am watching The Fellowship of the Rings and looking through DnD books while doing all my install/reinstall stuff. I just got to the scene where Frodo is lying on the ground dying from a Nosgul blade, Aragorn is over him, and insert Arwen.

One hell of a weekend. [ Movies ]

So today, I clocked out from work a little early, grabbed some quick groceries, and ran out to my car with the intent of making some food, watching a movie, and playing EQ2. The plan fell short when I reached my car...and it did not start. I got about 2 seconds of power and that was it...my battery died. Of course it has been a few years since it was replace so it was probably past due to be replaced.

Yeah, so another day that has been filled with next to nothing. I did however, come across this link in the forums over at somethingawful.com: http://fenslerfilm.com. They took all the GI Joe PSAs and played with them. Well worth the time you spend there.

This has got to be one of the best things I have read about how people are viewing the upcoming Star Wars movie: Can Star Wars Episode III Be Saved?.

If you like gore, you will love this movie.
If you like action, you will love this movie.
If you have a sick, twisted sense of humor, you will love this movie.
If you want to see a dog die... you will be sadly dissappointed.

The Passion and The Intimidator: One man can make a difference. [ Movies ]

Ok, so me and the wife drug a friend to see The Passion tonight. It was, well, neither bad or good, really. But who cares, I am not here to tell you how it was. I think everyone should see it, even if all you get from it was the badly computer added dove. What I am going to talk about is how sad people really are.

In the Mouth of Madness: Lived any good books lately? [ Movies ]

Ok, so me and wife are losers (mostly me, but who cares). We have this little game where we watch one movie and then "link" it with another movie by some actor or actress in the movie, like Hackers links to Tomb Raider through Angilina Jolie. Anyways, we were watching The Seventh Sign and I checked imdb to see if anyone linked. Well, if there were multiple links, I already knew Michael Biehn linked it to Tombstone, but there could always be others.
