It was July second about two hours ago. On that day my friend and I got bored and started to walk around Loogootee. As it stood there wasn't much to do. We walked by the school to see if anyone was there (and there wasn't) and then walked down Butcher Boulevard. About half way down it a silver mustang went driving by to the school. About fifty feet from that it came by us again, this time a passenger threw something out of the window. I noticed the smoke, and a blue color, but still labeled it as a cigarette. Just than my friend jumped back from it as I had passed it. I was a few inches away when it shot off to a local house and proceeded in blowing up. I don't remember what I was thinking at the time, but I simply shrugged it off and continued walking, all the while my friend rambled on about a classmate's sister being in the passenger seat. This classmate happened to be one of those devout men-in-knights (you know what... she's a christian) and couldn't see her sister doing such a thing anyways.
About two blocks away from Butcher Boulevard, I proceeded in scaring small children (it wasn't my intention but they did shrink away from me) just to have the same car throw firecrackers at me, directly I might add. I ran... towards the car, and not because I feared for my life, but because I wanted to talk to the bastards in the car. (talk sounds so weird in that sentence...) They, of course, got away, but not before running a stop sign.
We walked around town and were targeted for at least two more firecrackers and childish slander. I have to admit, I have no fucking clue as to why they targeted us or if it was simply me or my friend. I have rarely done anything to piss off anyone in my school and if I did it was in my own grade at least. As for my friend, he has a broader social life but also is loved by almost everyone he talks to. This, to me, ruled out that they wanted to scare him or do him any harm. I have to admit that I shouldn't feel so "privileged" to be singled out. The best explanation for their childish actions is simply that they are stupid children with nothing better to do than threaten and mock the lives of others.
Our journey didn't end there. We had walked back to school in the hopes that someone might be there to explain some things. While my one friend, that had been there from the start of the story, had left, we still had found some former schoolmates to help fill us in on the shiny car. Turns out that the owner, or at least the driver, of the new silver mustang is hated by said schoolmates. The story gets better, as I had guessed it had a paper license plate (which meant it was indeed new) and the old car had been wrecked while the driver was high off of duster. My translation: stupid bitch. As for the people that were actually throwing the fireworks, I could only guess what they could be called. I called a friend to see if he knew anything about her. Sadly he said no, but recommend calling her in (something that I should have thought of and done sooner...) and said that it didn't matter about the license plate number. I then proceeded with calling her in.
With nothing else to do we walked back to my house in Loogootee (my family has two for the time being.) As we were approaching it, I vaguely heard my cell phone ringing. I answer it and it turned out to be the local sheriff's department. I had originally called 911 and didn't expect a call from the sheriff anyways. I asked what the car was like and who the driver was. I found it funny to hear his response to the girl's name. It was that of "O yeah that girl..." After the phone call, I went to my car to drop my friend off at his house. While he could have walked home... it didn't feel right with those morons out there. I had just rolled the windows when I noticed a silver mustang down the street. I then started to roll up the passenger side windows as they came close enough for us to see inside their car. The wench that had given us so much "love" and "presents" had a sour look on her fat face. (yeah, I'm a mean bastard when I feel like it) I had to resist the urge to flip her off... If I brought too much attention to myself they could do something to my car if they felt like it... like all the things I wanted to do to her wonderful new car that she definitely didn't deserve...
