NaNoWriMo starts tomorrow...or in like two hours. The overall goal is to churn out 50000 words, but I think I am going to set a 'more reasonable for me' goal of 25000 words. Even if I only hit my personal 25k mark, it will be the longest story I have written to date (previous largest work was 40-50 pages), and I have not written seriously since high school. I think I know what I am going to do with my story, at least the begining, and I have some notes ready to go.
You may have noticed off to the left, but I am going to keep a chart up of my progress, or lack there of. It is simple, color coded, and composed purely with CSS, so it will probably look like hell in IE6. If all goes well, you will see blue jut up the side at a fairly regular pace hitting the top by the end of November. Wish me luck.
