I love tossing up these really boring/simple layouts. It makes me feel like a real blogger. The main motivation for the layout change, other than being bored with what I had, was the fact that people viewing the site in Internet Explorer 6 with a screen res of 800x600 the 'pagenumbers' bar on the bottom was showing up at the top with no numbers. It was covering the title of the first post and just looked generally ugly. This version will also shrink horizontally better I think. I say better, because the logo image is not transparent, so will overlap the white bar on the right is shrunk too much, but if your screen is small enough for that to happen you obviously don't care about how things look to begin with.

Posted: 2006-12-04 08:25:02, by Joe (dad-in-law)It's uh, Christmas-y?Reminds me of the days when all we had were monitors that did either green or amber. Some people set up the monitors to have black writing on the green screens. Didn't go over well then either. I do like green print on the black screen though. That is what I usually had for my color settings in DBase III and sometimes word processing.

Posted: 2006-12-06 12:58:20, by talamI really need to learn more about these things. There is no way for you to do it, or at least no easy way to do it. When you post a comment, I strip out all of the HTML and CSS. There is probably some way involving unicode, but that is probably not worth the effort.
