I was hanging out with friends, watching Dexter season three, when one of them was invited to go eat food. She said "yes" and made mention of Montgomery and not me. I don't remember how the name came up, but it got me to think, "where have I heard that name before?" After a while it came to me, she's the girl that is in my "Study of the Animal Minds Class." I started to describe this to Hayworth (the friend of mine that was invited to go get food) and she confirmed that was the girl I was thinking of. I made mention that this made it awkward for me. I was then told not to worry about it. (Yeah right. Here I am about to eat food with some girl that I've had class for three months and we've never really talked... nothing awkward about that at all.)
Of course when we sat down to eat (I actually didn't get anything to eat) it was different. I had grabbed a plastic spoon to keep me from saying stupid shit. Some way or another it was brought up about my crash. I rattled off the tale and showed the burning inferno that was Simmons. During this I ended up breaking the spoon I had. I then made Montgomery rattle off his tale of flipping his truck while there were two other people with him. Hayworth then went on about two other "fun" experiences with her car. Over all it was great *sarcasm*. If I had a fucking pen I would have been writing all over my arm. Which I admit isn't really all that normal, but I would have rather done that then break that fucking spoon.
Ironically, while I was sitting there listening to everyone talk, I noticed that my roommate was a table away from us. He saw me, but he didn't bother to acknowledge me. Or something. Which I didn't mind really. I was just trying not to go bore out of my mind.
So in the course of one day, I find two people that I really never talk to. I've got mad skills.
